Treasurer, Aphasia Victoria Committee

Mimi is a Trained Nurse with a Post-graduate Certificate in Operating Room Nursing. After 30 years as a Theatre Sister in public, private hospitals or Surgeon rooms she changed careers and was appointed to a position with Foreign Affairs.

After moving to Melbourne Mimi then took on the duties of Company Director/Company Secretary of a small engineering consultancy.

A variety of Sport has been a very important part of her life, as a player, referee, officiating and committee member.

With her husband and children Mimi has been fortunate to travel widely both Australia and overseas including living in England for three years. Mimi is blessed with four wonderful grandchildren.

Then – a stroke with resulting Aphasia. Mimi is now committed to help other sufferers to improve their lives
