Committee Member, Aphasia Victoria

Philip’s career as an accountant included completing a Masters of Business at Monash and 10 years working for Box Hill TAFE. His roles have also included; Finance Manager, Executive Manager, Finance and Deputy Chief Finance.

His career has also taken him to work on major projects in the South Pacific, where his biggest role was managing the costing and budgeting on administrative technology schools in Fiji, Samoa, Papua New Guinea and Vanuatu.

After Phillip had his stroke in June 2010, he has spoken about his experience at following conferences:

Phillip has been Co-Chair of Aphasia Victoria since 2014 and is also on the board of Stroke Association Victoria. 

Not only a strong advocate of stroke and aphasia awareness, Phillip also enjoys travelling and has visited Wales, Ireland, North Ireland, Scotland, Italy, Spain and China.
